As China’s overall political and economic transition, rapid development ofeconomic globalization, the social situation has undergone complex andprofound changes, ideological and moral construction of primary school studentshas also brought challenges. Currently moral problems of pupils have not onlyseriously affected the healthy growth of students, but also restricted theadvancement of society. Therefore, we must properly face the problem, analyzesits causes scientifically and find ways to solve them, in order to promote theimprovement of ideological and moral standards of primary students. This willtrain qualified personnel for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The issue, with their own teaching practice, takes theoretical exploration,surveys, site visits and other methods, and according to the theme of "askquestions, analyze and solve problems," the thesis consists of theory explanation,the investigation of the status, analysis of reasons and and counter-measuresresearch.Part I: Chapters I and II. The background of the subject sources will bereviewed, and the whole idea of the meaning and purpose of research methods,research status and the status of research from home and abroad will be analyzedand studied.Part II: Chapter III. It is the main part of this article. Through questionnairesand site visits, combined with literature data, it starts from the ideological andmoral mainstream of current students to focus on moral cognition and behavior,ideals, beliefs, mental capacity and behavior habits.Part III: Chapter IV and Chapter V. It is an important part of this article.Analysis of the important reasons for students ideological and moral problemswill be studied, including school, family, community, traditional concepts,students themselves and many other factors. From the primary students’ideological and moral construction, optimizing moral social environment,improving the timeliness of family ethics, enriching moral connotation ofschools and getting experience of outstanding moral side of things from the East and West, this part will aim to improve students learning aspects of ideologicaland moral education environment, and improve the effectiveness of ideologicaland moral education students, thus better promoting the healthy development ofthe overall quality of primary school education.Part IV: Chapter VI. This is the summary of this paper. And future researchis discussed. Through the analysis of the preceding text and combined with thepurpose and significance of this study, it aims to propose countermeasures ofimproving the ideological and moral education of pupils and suggestions whichwill help strengthen the effectiveness of moral education in primary school. Bystarting from their own educational practice, this paper propose measures thatwill put practice and theory into the same height, and these measures are morepractical and more targeted.
