Only through interaction process, especially dynamic interaction process between teachers and students, between students and students, and between teachers, students and teaching environment, classroom teaching can be achieved (Allwright,1984). More exactly, classroom interaction is the communicative process for the purpose of completing tasks, which includes teachers’verbal behaviours and nonverbal behaviours, classroom atmosphere, teachers’feedback, learners’participation, group activities and teaching evaluation, etc. Therefore, we must successfully implement and manage classroom interaction to obtain the success of foreign language teaching. At the same time, lexicons are building materials of a language, as well as important cells of the whole language. Famous British linguist Wilkins once said:"people can not express many things without grammar, but they are unable to convey anything without lexicon." Therefore, we can say that there is no language skill can be separated from lexicon, such as listening, speaking, reading and writing.Through analysis and empirical research on classroom interaction in class of public elementary school in suburb, the author intends to create a positive learning environment in order to promote further improvement of English vocabulary teaching quality. In the meantime, by means of revealing the inspiration from the actual teaching of second language in suburb, the author attempts to promote continuous improvement of teachers’professional quality, stimulate students’thirst for knowledge and enable different individuals to enjoy a happy and pleasant learning process. On the basis of three main hypothesis theories of Psychological Language Interaction Theory and main points of Piaget, the representative of Social Interaction Theory, the author registered five teachers’ten classes in two schools, made survey on students by questionnaires and interviewed teachers to review and summarize the present situation of the special group as public elementary schools in suburb, especially existing problems. In addition, on the basis of studying Total Physical Response and Task-based Teaching Method and other related teaching methods, and combining with her own teaching practice, the author has not only designed her own teaching ideas, but also carried out an experiment for three months targetedly (the third week in Mar.2013-the second week in Jun.2013). At last, the author put forward enlightenment on vocabulary teaching from research results and make suggestions on the improvement of later teaching. To sum up, lexicon learning is the foundation for people who want to learn English successfully. Students can make a further study only after mastering enough lexicons. Therefore, in large class teaching at present, teachers and students as main subjects of teaching activities, they should actively interact with each other, develop two-way feedback and timely adjust themselves, to really improve students’abilities in applying words and achieve desired effect of lexicon teaching.
