By methods of reference documents, the analysis of the techniques and the tactics, the expertinterviews, the logical analysis and so on, the videos of8world outstanding professionalfemale tennis players’ match in the2013WTA annual final competition were watched overand over again and analyzed comprehensively in order to get further understanding of thedevelopment tendency regarding the world female tennis. The results show that:(1) Service stage: In terms of success rate in the first service, little Williams’ is70%who is inthe leading position among the eight players; while Azarenka is relatively weak whosesuccess rate is51%; the other six players’ success rate are maintained at above60%and thereare not any significant differences. As for scoring rate of the first service, the obviousadvantage of little Williams indicates her strong protecting ability. The scoring rate in thesecond service decreases significantly, compared to the first service, especially Erani andAzarenka, whose scoring rates are relatively low,39%and35%respectively. For ACE ball,little Williams is the best (5.6), but as for the double fault, Li Na is the champion (5.2). Withregard to the average speed, in the first service little Williams is the fastest(165km/h), butKorbel is the slowest (136km/h); In the second service, Korbel, Erani and A-Radwanska arerelatively slow. With respect to the landing point, in the first service, interior angle>exteriorangle> middle; While in the second service, middle>interior angle>exterior angle.(2) Receiving stage: in the first service, eight players are mostly using stopping the ball orchopping, and the total of using rate is more than50%except Li Na (43.4%). For the choiceof receiving path, in the first receiving service, oblique line and middle line occupy more(more than70%), straight line is less. But in the second receiving, the using rate of strokingincreases greatly (over52.8%), and the the returning path is more attacking. Regarding theservice breaking rate, little Williams is the strongest, reaching72.7%, and Li Na is in thesecond place which is47.3%, the differences of breaking rate among Jankovic, Covey Tova,Azha Lunka,Gobel and Erani is delicate which is between36.2%and42.6%. A-Radwanskais the weakest in the breaking rate, only8.5%,bringing in a big gap compared with otherseven players.(3) Stalemate stage: in this stage, forehand and backhand stalemate is the main measures ofscoring. The average using rate of forehand is46.5%above. However the backhand using rateis relatively low, more than27.2%. About the average using rate of chopping among the eightplayers, it takes up about5.95%, which is the lowest using rate. Attacking the weak backhandside is the tactic of landing point, which is cooperated with mobilization and the sudden line change. The scoring rate on the net of the eight players averages above50%. Getting on thenet actively has become a necessary scoring method in modern tennis forum.Conclusion:(1)Characteristics of techniques and tactics of world outstanding female tennis players in theservice stage are as follows: In the first service, the large angle outside is mainly adopted orflat inside to aim for ACE. In the second service, it mainly turns to the opponent’s backhandseeking the spin and landing spot and cooperates with the central body hit, guaranteeing itsstability and attacking. On the basis of pursing speed, the changes of power, spin and landingspot, increase of number on ACE, decrease of fault, improvement of the service are paid moreattention which rich the techniques and tactics of service.(2) Characteristics of techniques and tactics of world outstanding female tennis players in thereceiving stage are as follows: In the first service, the blocking and chopping methods aremainly adopted. Facing the second service, backhand stroking is mainly used. Int the firstreceiving stage, its receiving path is centered by oblique line and middle line cooperative withstraight line. On the second returning path, oblique line and straight line are given priority andmiddle line plays a supporting role. Nowadays, the techniques and tactics of service andreceiving ball has transferred from robust defence to active attack with stronger aware ofactive attack and higher requirements of receiving ball. Receiving and serving ball are moreactive than ever before.(3)Characteristics of techniques and tactics of the world outstanding female tennis players inthe stalemate stage are as follows: forehand and backhand stroking is the most commonmethod in this stage, and chopping is mainly used to change the pace of the game. On theaspect of play, it is no longer the stalemate in bottom line, but coming the net to play becomesmore and more, which pays more attention to the future event after serving and receiving. Atthe same time of active attack, the landing point, path and rhythm changes are also appliedflexibly.
