China has always attached great importance to the ideological and political education.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the ideological and politicaleducation has been considerable development as a "lifeline". However, there are still manyunsatisfactory areas which need to constantly improve and perfect. After World War II,Japan realizes modernization and rapidly becomes the economic power of capitalism indecades.The ideological and political education has played a huge role in promoting. It hasgreat practical significance to improve the current ideological and political education byusing the experience of Japan’s ideological and political education.Sino-Japan regard the ideological and political education in a prominent positionwhich not only defend national sovereignty, promote economic development, but also makepeople form a unified ideology. Meanwhile, we should learn from Japan’s experience andstrengthen the national spirit of indoctrination.To further express the ideological andpolitical education development role in economic. Sino-Japan’s training objectives ofideological and political education should make the willing of countries as a starting pointand mainly aimed at teenagers. Because of the influence of Confucian culture between thetwo countries, the theoretical basis of ideological and political education show a feature ofsome similar. China’s ideological and political education in ancient and modern havedifferent theoretical sources. Japan’s ideological and political education is the integration ofnative and exotic, including democratic spirit and Bushido ideology. Therefore, we shouldabsorb excellent foreign ideology, combine with its own characteristics, and constantlyenrich the theoretical basis of ideological and political education. In addition, due tocultural and institutional are different, the and political education is also a great differencein the specific content, including the political system, democratic laws, policies, moral andso on. Japan pays more attention to education in patriotism and collectivism education.China should step up two-sided education and enrich the content of ideological andpolitical education. The way of ideological and political education between China andJapan are divided into four: family, school, society and mass media, but it is worth notingthat Japan plays the role in these pathways. Therefore, China should draw lessons from Japan’s experience, attach importance to the basic role of family education, educate in theschool education text, maximize the advantages of community education, control the massmedia public opinion direction. Through a comparative study, we want to learn fromJapan’s successful experience of ideological and political education, make efforts to achievediversification, modernization, socialization and internationalization, and constantlypromote the development of ideological and political education.
