Shot movement is an old project of the modern Olympic movement. As early as in 1896 the first modern Olympic Games had shot event, but then only men’s shot put was listed in the Games. Until 1948, women’s shot put joined the fourteenth Olympic Games. After almost 100 years of development, women’s shot put movement has reached a very high level. So far, the world record of the women’s shot put has reached 20.63m.The female’s shot put project is China’s athletics projects and has a lot of excellent women shot athletes, for example, Li Meisu, Huang Zhihong, Sui Xinmei etc, have achieved excellent results at the world track and field competition. At the end of the last century the level of China’s female shot once appeared the phenomenon of landslide. However, after nearly 10 years of efforts, there appeared another group of excellent women shot athletes, such as Lijiao Gong, Liu Xiangrong. This fully reflects China’s women shot put movement has a strong foundation for development and a good development prospects. So, how can our female shot putters achieve such excellent sports results? In addition to the good quality of athletes and their excellent technical ability, the profound understanding and skilled shot put technology, is one of the key factors that can not be ignored. Therefore, this study used the method of literature, image analysis and mathematical statistics and other research methods, carrying kinematics analysis on the Twelfth National Games women’s shot put athletes in the last exertion, deeply study the Twelfth National Games women’s shot put athletes’each technical link the inherent laws and the interrelated features, and further clarify the nature of shot project. Providing reference value for the training of Chinese excellent women shot athletes, so as to increase the level of scientific quality of shot movement’technical training in China, promoting women’s shot put technique training level in China to a new step.
