Performance Evaluation Of The National Games In China From The Perspective Of History Evolution

As the largest, the highest and the strongest level National Games, the National Games in China has been playing a positive role for nearly 60 years, especially in China’s sport undertakings and people’s physical quality. With the development of politics, economics, culture, social and ecology, the National Games in China has lots of troubles. There have been many negative phenomena, such as false ball, black whistle, camera bellows operation, doping scandal, judge scoring unfairly, medals been decided secretly before competition, etc. Kinds of reasons lead to these unhealthy things which make sports competition being in a mess, interest is the most important. All is showing that the National Games in China has been betrayed the original intention of holding and has many troubles in the development. So, a question is worth to be thinking about---Is it the time that cancels the National Games in China? Based on those, from a historical perspective of the evolution, this paper reviews development of the 12th National Games have been held, clarifies the logic of evolution of the game, assesses the performance of the game, then discusses the ways to reform the game.
