Young people are the future of the nation and society who undertake the arduous historic tasks, and therefore their healthy growth concerns not only their own fates but also the development of the country and society. Youth is an important period in growth because they go through many changes in their bodies, emotions, psychology and social relations. During this critical period, yet they may face a series of difficulties and crisis in growth. In the recently years with the increase in the number of young people coming from divorced families, dropping out of schools and being unattended, the youth problems are more and more obvious and this issue are drawing increasing attention and discussion. Since it is difficult for the young people in these situation to get themselves out, the outside guidance leading them through a healthy youth period is needed, which is of great importance for their future growth and development.Based on 2014 Jilin Province "3 District Project" and targeting the young people from single-parent families in difficulty, this thesis applies the method of Task-Centered mode to intervene in the difficult situation youth cases by starting with the difficulties that these young people confront, such as estranged from parents, deviation of behavior and improper in interpersonal relations with the guidance of the professional ideas of social work. Meanwhile by digging out the supporting networks from the families, schools and their peers a good growth space for their healthy growth is formed through reallocating resources. In these cases more attention should be paid to finding out their potentials so as to improve their abilities to solve problems. Hopefully this thesis will become a reference for the social work related to the young people in difficulty and help more of them with their healthy growth.
