With the development of modern cities,new changes and new features have appeared in neighbourhood disputes,as a new major,social work has the characteristics of adapting to modern life to resolve disputes.The application of task-centered model in community neighborhood dispute resolution is a vacancy in China's existing research materials.This paper combines the task-centered model with community neighborhood dispute resolution to explore the possibilities of their integration.This article takes the neighborhood dispute between the original inhabitants and immigrants in a relocated community as a case,both clients have a deeper cultural background of Chinese traditional rural culture,the so-called face and stubbornness in character are the obstacles to dispute resolution,the author assisted clients to resolve the dispute according to the six phases of the task-centered model: determine the target problem,reach the service agreement,prioritize and confirm the target problem,discuss and assign the task to solve the problem,execute the task together,check the performance of the task after the completion of all tasks,evaluate the completion of the task and confirm whether to carry out the follow-up consolidation task after the case is closed.The efficiency of the task-centered model requires the active cooperation of the clients,the parties in this study have rural cultural background,which is a favorable condition for the successful solution of the case,the author also ideally achieved the desired goals and illustrates that it is feasible to apply the task-centered model to neighborhood dispute resolution.This case study can provide a factual basis for future generations to study community neighborhood dispute resolution,as well as a new idea and method.
