The Chinese teacher Wang Songzhou is a leader in the field of Chinese teaching inprimary schools for his profound teaching ideas and the exploration in Chinese classroomteaching’s art. Presently, most researchers who study about Wang Songzhou mainlyconcentrate on his teaching’s cases in the conduct of his poetic Chinese thought, or hisreading teaching, or his opinion of text,neither of them was to conduct a comprehensiveand systematic study of his poetic Chinese teaching ideas. This thesis will take WangSongzhou’s interviews as first-hand information to study on his poetic Chinese teachingthoughts,then exploring the reflection of his ideas on the contemporary ChineseTeaching by analyzing his teaching cases.This thesis is divided into six parts. The introduction mainly discusses thepurpose,significance and status of this research. We summary the current findings andshortcomings about Wang Songzhou’s research through three aspects, which are histeaching’s thought and the art of his Chinese teaching,then we make a comparisonbetween him and other famous teachers, to clarify the significance of Wang Songzhou’spoetic thought on the current Chinese teaching. The introduction also demonstrates theideas and methods about this thesis. The first chapter discusses the formation of WangSongzhou’s poetic thought through three aspects which are the origins of his thought, thetheory’s background and its characteristics of each stage. In addition, We classify thegrowth process of Wang Song Zhou’s poetic Chinese ideas and summary thecharacteristics of his thought. At last, we show the internal relationships between hispoetic thought and the new curriculum’s reform of Chinese teaching. In the secondchapter,We discuss the main content of Wang Songzhou’s Chinese teaching thoughts byelaborating his theory’s main body and carrier to reveal the connotation of his poeticChinese teaching thought. We sum up the practice which is worthy learned by our Chineseteacher through analyzing the art of his lesson’s readying and his process of teaching.Besides, we generalize his influences and achievements in the reform of Chinese teachingbelief, model and structure. The third chapter mainly discusses how the poetic Chineseteaching theory carries out in practice. We also summary the application of his poeticthought in the field of Chinese teaching’s art by analyzing his teaching language, histeaching design and the technology of teaching.The fourth chapter, we elaborate thereflection of Wang Songzhou’s poetic thought in the process of his Chinese teaching by analyzing his two typical teaching case which are Changxiangsi and Fengqiaoyebo. Thelast chapter, we summarize the enlightenment of his poetic Chinese teaching thoughtto contemporary Chinese teaching by researching on his poetic thought and analyzing hispractical teaching cases.
