The Campus Football Pilot Study Elementary School Football Culture In Kaifeng

The positive development of football has great significances on the growth of teenage students. On Feb.27th,2015, President Xi Jinping presided over a central reforming group meeting and put forward The Overall Scheme For Chinese Football Reform, which clearly points out that the development and rejuvenating of football is a necessary requirement for building our country into a sports power. According to the requirements posed in the Advice on Strengthening The National Youth Campus Football Activities, the construction of campus football needs not only strengthening in building material culture and behavior culture, but also the strengthening in the building of system culture and spiritual culture, namely the four are indispensable to each other. Thus it can be noted that the emphasis of the campus football construction lies in the construction of campus football culture, and the scientific and reasonable development of campus football should get promoted from the four levels of material, behavior, system and spirit, and then the talent-developing role that campus football has can be played. Since the release of the Advice on Strengthening The National Youth Campus Football Activities, the city of Kaifeng has been actively launching the construction of campus football culture. By now in the city there have been 13 primary schools which include Yuwangtai Experimental Primary School, Xinghuaying Primary School, Jinming Middle and Primary School been graded as provincial campus football pilot schools. However, few people has studied the present situation of campus football culture in these schools. Based on this reality, this paper, entitled as The Research On the Campus Football Culture Construction in Kaifeng Campus Football Pilot Schools, first takes a brief description of the campus football culture core connotation, the basic structure and the functions & values and the recent development of Kaifeng’s 13 campus football pilot schools, then systematically analyses the present construction situation of Kaifeng campus football from four aspects of material culture, behavior culture, spiritual culture and system culture, and finally summarizes the existing problems and puts forward some solutions and measures. Specifically, several main summaries of the paper are as follows:The first is that the four aspects of campus football are supplementary and indispensable to each other. They are playing five values which respectively are creating campus football atmosphere, satisfying students’ football playing needs, enhancing students’ physical heath levels, setting up fine school images and promoting the development of athletic football.The second is that though initial material condition have been formed in Kaifeng’s 13 football pilot schools, there still exists the fact of severe lack of football fields and relevant facilities. So the government should actively call on the bring-in of social resources and work harder in the scientific and diversified construction of football fields.The third is that nowadays the city of Kaifeng pay little attention to the organizing of students for football games watching, and the opportunities of organizing or participating great games are very limited. Opportunities of watching diversified football games should be offered to students to inspire their interest in football game, to make the campus football behavior culture activities more diversified ones.The fourth point is that at present, definitions and pursuits on campus football spirit culture of Kaifeng still remain unclear. Schools should strengthen in guiding and educating students on aspects of values of campus football spirit culture.The fifth is that nowadays, each football pilot school in Kaifeng lacks systematic programming on aspects like the use and maintenance of football facilities, the construction of football insurance mechanism, the supervision and evaluation of campus football construction as well as football development. It is suggested that with combining the core connotations of campus football culture and the current situation of campus football, pilot schools should map out relevant campus football culture systems in accordance with the schools’ real situations.
