Chinese textbooks of the Republic of China highly sought after in themoment is a unique social phenomenon. Gracious, elegant, rich knowledgeand fun is the main reason it is accepted by the public. The paper triesto reveal the origin, evolution, presentation and significance ofaesthetic concept in the textbooks from the perspective of "cultivatingemotion", and provide the necessary reflection and reference to thecurrent. Around this center, the paper is divided into six parts.The introduction part firstly elaborates the research significanceof the paper is that through the research on aesthetic concept of theChinese Textbooks in Primary School in the Republic of China,in orderto explore the changes of aesthetic fashion in different times andreference to the current. At the same time, after completing thedefinitions of primary school, Chinese, textbooks and so on, the papercombs the publishing situation of textbook literature in different stagesof the Republic of China. On this basis, the paper provides the time, scopeand background of the textbook research clearly.The first chapter is the origin of the aesthetic concept of the ChineseTextbooks in the Republic of China.In the past,aesthetic concept has everappeared in the textbooks. But it is still confused,not independent. Themodern era is the reason for the germinating of aesthetic consciousness.From the emergence of the modern aesthetic concept and the acception ofthe Western aesthetic concepts to the establishment of aestheticguidelines, textbooks are deeply affected. Among these, the educationpolicy of five kinds of education simultaneously promulgated by Cai Yuanpei has the most direct impact on the textbooks. Aesthetic educationpolicy affirms the value of aesthetic concept to character formation ofchildren complete, and plays a guiding role in the compilation of thetextbook.The second chapter expounds the transition from elementary readingsto textbooks in aesthetics concept. In the process of elementaryreadings turn to the modern sense of the textbooks, pay more attentionto man instead of God, reality instead of false, interests instead ofeducation, which is the three main dimension of the aesthetictransformation. The reason why discuss this kind of change in theaesthetic theme is that in the appeal of Western education concept,textbooks began to pay more attention to respect children themselves, tochildren’s real interest and emotional needs. Therefore, based on the sortof this transformation, the paper points the standpoint of aestheticconcept in the textbooks clearly, which is people’s emotional need.The third chapter is about the concrete analysis of aesthetic conceptof the Textbooks in the Republic of China. From "interest and trigger"of the emotional connection level to "based on sincere and oneself" ofthe real emotion level, and then to "games and free" of the emotionalfreedom level, aesthetic concepts in the textbooks attaches greatimportance to the children’s "cultivating affection". Around this purpose,text, illustrations and material in textbooks have to assume theresponsibility of education. After, based on the sincere and childrenthemselves on their textbooks are also be expressed. Finally, thesituation of gaming experience and on the shaping of children’s freepersonality, which is present in the textbooks is the emotional core ofeducation.The fourth chapter is the reference and reflection on the aestheticconcept of the textbooks in the Republic of China. Emphasize the education of knowledge and ignore the emotional education, which is a diseaseof this in Chinese teaching in primary school. Keep the balance ofEmotional experience and convey knowledge, the support between detailsof life and the theme of performance, excellent writers’ participationand keep the differences in education should be followed for the presenttextbooks. Also, the aesthetic concept is the product of transition from"pre-modern" to "modern" period of China, so it is not mature. But whenimplement the specific text of textbooks, also produced some differenteducational exclusion and variation, ideology education. Finally, thecase study on " image of mother "and "image of the child" has made thevalue and significance of reference and reflection.The conclusion part is a brief summary of the paper. It emphasizesthe aesthetic concept of the textbooks is the result of combination ofaesthetics and practice, which has important practical significance.
