Study On The Present Situation And Strategy Of The Traditional Nanquan Education In Middle And Primary School In Quanzhou

Chinese Wushu has a long history, and Fujian Nanquan is a gem of the traditional Wushu. Quanzhou traditional Nanquan has a long development. But it was at low ebb. Through writing up the traditional Nanquan’s history, cultural heritage and development, combined with the research of the status of Wushu education in Chinese schools and especially in Fujian Province, this paper takes the situation of the traditional Nanquan education developed in middle and primary school in Quanzhou as research subjects.Through the questionnaire data collection and analysis, we could find out there are differences about the relative importance of traditional Nanquan education in the schools, and the appropriate teaching situation and the corresponding extracurricular activities are not optimistic. Besides the differences in textbook selection, the teaching methods and teaching evaluation methods in the schools are not fully adapt to the traditional Nanquan education. In addition, there are also many problems in the teaching environment, teaching staff and students’ understanding of traditional Nanquan etc... Aiming at the present problems in the survey, this paper concludes and summarizes four methods to solve the problems. The first is to proceed from the actual situation, improve the teaching content, teaching reform and evaluation methods. The second is to standardize and improve the traditional Nanquan’s teaching environment. The third is to promote the faculty cultivation through a variety of channels. The fourth is to improve the students’ overall understanding of Nanquan. At the same time, this paper also mention that if the middle and primary schools’ traditional Nanquan education want to be effectively carried out, all of the government, school and society should pay attention to support and increase investment.
