In 2011, the Ministry of Education has printed and distributed the curriculum standards of the mathematics in the new compulsory education period, at the same time the People’s Education Press has started to use the new version of textbooks in the autumn of 2012. While using the new textbooks, teachers are more concerned with the study on the content update of the new textbooks, however, studies on the textbook exercises as well as how to exert the effect of exercise lesson are less.Although children in second grade are more accustomed and familiar with the school environment than first grade, however, their study initiatives and concentration in class are far from enough. So in order to know whether the exercises set in the textbooks of the People’s Education Press version suit to this group of children as well as how teachers now are teaching the exercise lesson, the author made detailed analysis on the exercises arrangement features of the new textbooks, at the same time made a random sampling survey to the teachers and students in five primary schools in Huichuan district. The investigation result is that teachers hold various opinions in the arrangement features of the exercises of the new version, meanwhile as the teaching philosophy of the exercise lesson can’t keep up with the steps of the curriculum reforms, so most of the teachers think at present, it is most needed to train and reform the teaching of the exercise lesson. Finally, combing with the actual situation in his own class, the author proposes the teaching flow of the exercise lesson as the “define major purpose—basic training—upgrading exercise—initiatively try—feedback and evaluation” and it should be practiced and improved continuously in teaching. |
