The academic performance of students is the common results of the role about family, school and society, family cultural capital is an important factor in the earliest affected student personality cultivation, good study and living habits of the acquisition in the three fa ctors, in ord er to understand the influence of family cultural capital gain on the academic achievement of students, Bourdieu explains the cultural capital of family how to influence children who came from different social class had different academic achievement through the proposed hypotheses. It come to the conclusion that students from different classes or groups gain different academic in school education, students from height c lass family obtain higher academic achievement than students from common class family,their Occupational Status is relatively high in future.The study investigated the cultural capital of family about ethnic minority students(in the study minority students mainly refers t o the Uygur students) in Xin Jiang based on Bourdieu’s cultural capital theory,it emphasize presented status of family cultural capital accumulation on the present, discussesed the influence of minority nationalities in family cultural capital on academic performance of students, in order to find the mechanism of family culture capital how to influence students’ academic achievements in Xinjiang minority middle school students. It designed as follows,The study is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is introduction. It includs research background, research significance, a review of the research at home and abroad, research status and problems, the definition of core concepts involved in the study content.The second chapter is research method and design. It m ainly introduces the research framework and methods used in the study. It conducted the research respectively from he whole idea of respectively, the preparation, research tools, the selection of research object, implementation process and the final data processing and analysis.The third chapter presents the family culture capital results of the study through discussessing the data and analyse. It is manily about status of ethnic minorities students’ family culture capital in Xinjiang.The fourth chapter mainly presents the influence of family cultural capital on students’ academic achievements.The fifth chapter discussed the effect mechanism of family cultural capital. It concluded howfamily cultural capital influences the students’ academic achievement with interview of m ainauxiliary case here of some students and their parents through the content analysis.The sixth chapter is the conclusion, reflection and prospect. It draws the final conclusion on the analysis and discussion of the data and interviews, the author has a reflection of problems in the text, prospects for the future research on family cultural capital forward. The major findings of the study are shown as follows:Accumulation of the s pecific and objective family cultural capital of students’ in Uygur is lower than Han nationality cultural capital.It the family system of junior middle school students of family cultural capital is higher, their objective and specific family cultural capital accumulation is the greater possibility of the rich.It would accumulation more family cultural capital if the higher frequency of Chinese to used in students’ family members.Junior high school students can have a more ideal academic performance if their fathers have a higher level of education. The level of education of Students’ mother did not show significant difference influence on students’ academic achievement.Father’s occupation has a significant difference effect on the students’ achievement.If students’ family accumulate more specific and objective cultural capital, students can gainmore well lif e attitude, develop more initiative positive to face difficulties, strengthen morestudents’ learning motivation, reading comprehension, communication habits, and to cultivatechildren good character acquisition.
