The rapid development of information technology so that ordinary people can enjoy the convenience it brings, how to make this kind of mental retarded students with disabilities can also enjoy the convenience brought by information technology, we have been thinking and trying to do. And now, few researches have been done on the information technology courses of school for the mental retardation have not formed a curriculum system, the information technology course of orderly on society-adaptation schools formed a lot of difficulties, a not conducive to students with mental retardation cultivation of information literacy, it is imperative to the development of information technology curriculum, based on society-adaptation schools development of information technology course, is conducive to the completion of this course, help students with mental retardation use information technology to improve their quality of life.In this paper, based on the analysis of the characteristics of the students with mental retardation, spirit of rehabilitation concept, combined with "life as the core " of the school for the mental retardation curriculum setting principle, with society-adaptation schools development of information technology curriculum as the object of study has carried on the beneficial exploration. On the one hand, the students with mental retardation and their characteristics are expounded from the theoretical level, and the development of information technology curriculum society-adaptation schools theoretical basis and its significance and the principle has carried on the theory of mining. on the other hand, from the practical level, information technology on society-adaptation schools curriculum goal, curriculum content, teaching methods, as well as teaching evaluation and the cultivation of information technology teachers are discussed. The author through literature review, analysis, and the arrangement and analysis of SuZhou city school for the mental retardation IT teacher interviews, find out the existing problems and the reasons, and on this basis, from the Angle of theory and practice, aiming at these problems puts forward some measures that: Strengthening in-service teacher’ training in information technology education is the main way to solve the Mentally Retarded IT teacher too few. The three dimensional goal setting of the curriculum is more conducive to personality development of students with mental retardation. "Basic knowledge" and "expanding knowledge" of the curriculum content arrangement, more flexibility in the choice of teaching content for the characteristics of students with mental retardation. Stratified teaching mode makes the classroom teaching more targeted, three step teaching evaluation methods about lesson evaluation, after-school summary and unit of Reflective can constantly modified and promote the improvement of teaching effect on the classroom teaching, expect this study to provide some reference for the study of the school for the mental retardation IT courses.
