Analysis And Design Of The Function Of CPE Device Information Backup In Wlan System

With the rapid development and popularization of WLAN, the emergence of many new wireless devices is greatly enriching the application form of the wireless LAN. But the small radio coverage of AP(Access Point) causes great inconvenience for the network layout and the users, so CPE(Customer Premise Equipment) appears to be used to solve this problem. CPE is a special station, which can access to the wireless LAN through AP as other normal wireless stations. CPE can be. used as a bridge to provide wired and wireless access services to other stations, so that stations can access to a wireless LAN through the CPE, which expands the scope of WLAN.There usually are master AC and slave AC arranged in WLAN, so that the master AC can backup the station device information to the slave AC. When the master AC fails, the slave AC can quickly and smoothly take over the work of the master AC, which avoids the network failure caused by paralysis of the master AC and enhances the reliability and stability of the network. When a CPE accesses to WLAN, the master AC will not only save the device information of the CPE, but also backup the device information to the slave AC. AC system software used by the project can backup the device information of the station, but due to the particularity of CPE, it can not complete the backup of CPE. So, this paper mainly studied how to backup CPE device information from the master AC to the slave AC.Firstly, this paper introduces the background of the project, and some relative knowledge. Then, it analyzes the requirements description and module partition of the CPE device information backup function. Improvement scheme of the CPE data storage structure and organizational form of CPE data transmission are also studied. Finally this paper puts forward the implementation scheme of customer premise equipment information backup. For that purpose, this paper realizes the function of real-time backup and batched backup for CPE device information, which includes CPE basic information and IP address. And it also keeps the compatibility of the CPE information backup and the normal station data backup.
