With the development of telemetry technology, the species and amount of telemetryparameters are increasing. How to reaceive telemetry parameters in harsh environmentsreliably, that is becoming citical to the design of data logger. NAND Flash has manyadvantages such as non-volatile, high reliability, small size, light weight, low powerconsumption, high shock resistance, wide operating temperature, etc. Because of theseadvantages, it’s becoming the ideal storage medium for the application in aircraft data logger.The data logger researched in this paper can receive several telemetry parameters, re-encodeand storage. After the experiment, the experiment data can be recycled in hard way.For the key technical issues existing in the design, solutions are proposed, which can alsomeet the requirements of system metrics. The main work is as follows:(1) Three-channel impact parameters, one-channel PCM data and one-channel imagedata are received under the control of FPGA, and the received telemetrydata are hybrid codedusing digital multiplexing technology;(2) A detailed study of NAND Flash hardware drivering technology is conducted, andon the basis of this technology on the upper, pipeline storage technology is proposed, whichcan improve the speed of NAND Flash page programming further;(3) For the transmission issues between the ground test equipment and the data logger oncommand and data, a transmission scheme based on LVDS technology is proposed andSerDes architecture is conducted in-depth analysis.At the end of this paper, the function and performance of the data logger is tested, andthe test results are analyzed, which show that the data logger can receive the impactparameters, RS-422PCM data and LVDS image data accurately, and NAND Flash writedspeed can reach13MB/s. The conclusion is that each technical indicator of the data loggermeets the requirements.
