With the rapid development of China’s economy, all walks of life cannot leave the electricity supply. People’s Daily life and work of huge demand prompted the electric power enterprise must be efficient and responsible for power resources configuration and management work. The existing distribution of resource management and data maintenance method has been difficult to adapt to modern life demand for power distribution construction and development.In this paper, according to the actual need of electric power enterprise of communication resource management work of power, development of electric power communication resource management system based on GIS. The main application of JAVA language, J2EE development platform, Struts2 framework, Hibernate framework and Spring framework technology and GIS technology, combined with Oracle database to develop this system. The completion of the data maintenance and management module, resource management module and statistical module. The data maintenance management subsystem realized the data maintenance function mainly has:site type management, category management, basic data management, task management and fault management; resource management system is the main function of this system is the main module of power supply relationship management, network management, access management and circuit management; statistical analysis module is the main query statistics, business analysis and resource statistics function. The implementation of the resource management module are discussed.Design and Realization of electric power communication resource management system based on GIS, makes the data maintenance and resource management more convenient. The statistical classification of various information unique to statistical analysis functions can speak enterprises. Because the system of these functions will be all design to application. And simple, convenient operation, accurate and guarantee information, greatly improves the efficiency and quality of work.
