To be effective management and display real-time information of rainfall, the system uses C/S structure of the development model as a development tool with ArcObjects,and uses the C# development language,accesses SQL Server database statistics rainfall information through ArcSDE,in order to achieve data query,graphics,grading area calculation,isosurfaces,reports and maps output function. The system has perfect function and good operation,it has been applied of FuXin Hydrology Bureau and it is able to provide technical support for rainfall information management and decision-making service for flood control and drought relief.The main contents of the paper include the following aspects:(1) Spatial database management. System data using a server-side centralized management mode,the client can connect to the server via a LAN without installing ArcSDE,indirectly access data stored in a spatial database for easy data management and improve the efficiency of the client.(2) Comparison of Spatial interpolation algorithm.Using inverse distance weighting method,kriging interpolation and spline method to spatial interpolation and generate rainfall isosurfaces.Through comparative analysis,when generating Fuxin rainfall isosurfaces,inverse distance weighting method has high accuracy of applying for Rainfall spatial interpolation.(3) Rainfall statistical analysis system design.Rainfall observation station via GPRS communication transfer of rainfall telemetry data to the database,telemetry database using SQL Server.Using ArcObjects extension ArcMap mode of secondary development,by writing code on the server side data after the corresponding processing and return the results to the client in order to achieve the function of the system.
