At first, it made a detail description of work content, and census technical process about the general investigation of Liaozhong county and built the county surface database. Completing the regional surface capture from a single small range by Idate software, then import into Arcgis for fusion and summary,and finally complete the Liaozhong County surface information acquisition system.(2)In the database building process building focuses on the production process of remote sensing images. Since I made up a exportbigtif.bcf plugin base on Visuai Basic, which can batch conversion of image data format under ERDAS and solved the the shortcomings of the past time and time consuming of the image processing, saved a lot of time and manpower for the Liaozhong County census geographic conditions, improved the overall working efficiency.(3)this paper introduces the process of the construction of database, liaozhong surface class around the statistics in the census surface coverage area and the proportion of the total land, and comparison with data of 2008 national two adjustable, in view of the comparison results analysis forecast and put forward the corresponding Suggestions.In this paper, according to the geographical conditions survey contents and requirements, according to the characteristics of the different geographical elements, combined with the achievements of basic geographic information data and special data collected, with high resolution based on orthogonal projection like aeronautics and astronautics, auxiliary by multi-source information interpretation and interpretation methods, automatic classification and man-computer interactive interpretation of the combination of technical means, through field investigation and verification, and thus to liaozhong geographic information statistics and analysis of the census work conditions and the geographical conditions has guiding work in the future.
