Population is the main body of the society, with the development of the era of scholars increasingly keen on the study of population, from the social and demographic research slowly developed into a city of demography, population geography. The traditional census population data unit said the way already cannot satisfy the social demand for population data grid, and the expression of population method can express the real distribution of population, so the study on population data grid based, the realization of population data visualization using GIS method.This paper takes Beijing city as the study area, the first use of space distribution of the population by census area level interpolation model, the latest data as the foundation, combining remote sensing solutions 2010 building community data translation, obtain the grid population; on this basis the use of multi-source data fusion model, avoidance of spatial data scale conversion, zoning with effect of each population distribution factor simulation of population density value. The results show that:the coefficient of determination of model up to 0.824 and 0.944, proved that the model has a high reliability. To better solve the demographic data can not express the true distribution problem, and provides a reliable support for macro decision making.In this paper, the main results are as follows:(1) This research utilizes the spatial population distribution interpolation model, combined with remote sensing interpretation of building community and census data area data, obtained in Beijing city in 2010 the multi-scale (250m,500m,1000m) population data grid, and verified its accuracy and has high reliability with a multistage test method.(2) In this study the use of multi-source data fusion model, the population distribution influence factor and population density data coupling. The study area was divided into two regions by partition method of landform type, model decision coefficient are 0.824 and 0.944 experiments prove that the model has good prediction.(3) In this study, spatial population distribution interpolation model generated km grid data as the dependent variable, the use of multi-source data fusion model of population distribution influence factor and the coupling relationship between population, to obtain a reliable parameters, to provide reliable support for indirect grid generation algorithm.The results of this study will provide support for the information visualization technology of Beijing city population, lay a solid foundation for the construction of Beijing City, macro decision.
