In this paper, based on rigional geological and corresponding hydrogeological conditions, Linhuan coalmine district was chosed to be used as the study area and collected plenty of bore histograms, core extraction rate,apparent resistivity curve and natural gamma curve, borehole slurry leakage,hydrological observation record, analysis results of hydrochemistry, pumping(dewatering) test results, probing and discharging borehole undergound data material of limestone aquifer. Analyzing sedimentary characteristics, the thickness distribution law, palaeogeomorphology conditions, tectonic controlling properties, water chemical characteristics, groundwater flow situation, affecting factors of karst development and controlling mechanism. The existence states of the karst water of Taiyuan formation limestone is analyzed systematically. The following results and understanding are obtained:1.The Taiyuan formation limestone karst of Linhuan coalmine district cracks develop well, and the main developmental issolution crack and solution opening, among them,the most is corrosion fissure. The development of karst fissure shows a trend of gradual variation.with the increase of depth, The results are following:Karst development of limestone is bad in the depth of -500m at mining area; the karst development has positive correlation with the thickness of limestone bed; karst development having action of strate controlling, the development intensity decreased with the buried depth;too ash three and four are development more than one or two.2.Taiyuan Formation limestone karst development of Linhuan coalmine district is determined by the chemical mineral constituents, palaeogeomorphology,structural environment, groundwater flow and other factors. Studying on the limestone karst water hydrodynamic and hydrochemical characteristics,combined the change characteristics of different depth water environment with the ways of recharge, runoff and drainage of groundwater. The study area is divided into three hydrogeological sub units based on analyzing on hydrogeochemical characteristics, the hydrogeological sub units of East,Northwest,Southwest.3.By the statistical analysis of pumping (pouring) test and underground water drainage test of hydrogeological parameter and water discharge and core recovery rate,logging curve,drilling slurry leakage. This paper studied that the watery property of limestone aquifer of mine area. The research find that the watery of property of the first and the second limestone of Taiyuan formation is weak,whereas the third and the fourth layer are stronger. In total,most of limestone from 1 to 4 are weak watery, however the watery of Ordovician limestone aquifer is high. As the depth increases, the watery of limestone of Taiyuan formation from 1 to 4 aquifer is gradually becoming weaker.The result showed that coalmine's 500 meter deeper limestone are weak watery aquifer, It is hydrogeological characteristics are " higher confined weak watery"?...
