The west area of Nam Co in Tibet, located in the middle section of Lhaguo TsoAso-Yongzhu-Nam Co-Jiali-Bomi ophiolitic melange belt. On the regional metallogenic background,it belongs to the mountain Nyenchen tanglha metallogenic belt and is rich in mineral resources prospecting clues. We obtain a new batch of geochemical data by means of 1:50000 Kemaruqing sheet stream sediment survey, which for statistical analysis screened out 19 comprehensive anomalies. Among anomalies, 3 class A, 2 class B, 14 class C. The study found that anomalies are mainly distributed in two places as follows:(1) Serpentined limburgite in the north and midst and south of the study area which is mainly given priority to the anomalies of Cr, Ni, Co, and have a northwest-southeast ribbon distribution;(2) Granodiorite porphyry and volcanic-sedimentary strata which is mainly given priority to the anomalies of Ag, Pb, Zn, Sb in the east of the sudy area and have a east-west ribbon distribution. In the abnormal belt, the known mineral is given priority to chromite and magnetite point, and secondary to anomalies of Ag, Pb; Zn.Based on the synthetic study of a lot of information, we divided into 2 mineral foreground areas, 5 prospecting target areas. Totally five different comprehensive anomaly were selected and verified, the abnormal reproducibility is good, a new chromite point was found.According to anomaly combination characteristics and distributed regularity and enrichment characteristics of the geochemical element in the study area, with anomaly ranking and anomaly verification's results, it suggests that minerals in the study area is given priority to chromite and nickel(cobalt) and magnetite, it is possible to find lead, zinc, silver, and antimony polymetallic ore.
