The study area is located in the main ridge section of the east Eerbin mountain in Hejing county,Xinjiang.With small Yang Ji Braque group of the middle Proterozoic,the main stratums are Al Pi J Mai Burak group and Sa Armin group of the late Paleozoic Middle and Lower Devonian.The intrusive rocks exist largely,the tectonic deformation is strong and the area is rich in mineral resources,mainly based on polymetallic ore.In the research,geochemical characteristics are identified,metallogenic prediction areas are delineated and the prospecting directions for ore are found,which will provide the references for further prospecting research.By rearranging and analysing the data of the 1:5 0000 stream sediment geochemical survey,geochemical characteristics of 14 kinds of elements,including Au,Ag,As,Sb,Bi,Cu,Pb,Zn,Cr,Co,Ni,W,Sn,Mo,have been showed.Through the calculation and comparison of geological exploration potential index for different units,it shows that Al Pi J Mai Burak group has a good prospect in these elements,including Mo,W,Ni,Sb,As,Cr,Zn,Sa Armin group has a good prospect in Pb,Yang Ji Braque group has a good prospect in Au,and the intrusive rocks in Carboniferous has a good prospect in Bi.Through mathematical statistics,including correlation analysis,R cluster analysis and factor analysis,the relationship of elements are distinguished,and element combination information are extracted,then four models of elements combination are divided,revealing some geological and mineralization information.Rationality of the method chosen for geochemical data processing will influence directly the result's geological significance.There is no such thing as a generic approach.To get the best method,combining geological conditions and comparing various methods are necessary.In the process of analysis the data of 1:50000 stream sediment geochemical survey,Progressive Division,Iteration Procedure,EDA and Cumulative Frequency Method are used.It is founded that EDA is the best for acquiring anomaly threshold in the area after comprehensive analysis and comparative study.According to geological and geochemical characteristics,14 comprehensive anomalies are delineated.Combining the three parameters,including abnormal size,element composition,geological characteristics of mineralization,and choosing the method of “Centralized Decision Making for Fuzzy Opinion”,the comprehensive anomalies can be sorted reasonably.According to the principle of comprehensive anomaly classification,the region is divided into 7 anomalies of class A,4 of class B and 3 of class C.Combined various factors,the abnormal area is divided into 3 abnormal zones,respectively Gurumunaiguole anomaly zone,Wusitudaban anomaly zone and Haharenguole anomaly zone,providing some directions for further prospecting research in this area.
