Study area is located in south of Ethiopia,in the eastern of Africa, linking the Arabian- Nubian Shield to Mozambique belt to the south of Ethiopia, it is advantageous to metallogenic area, is looking for gold, tantalum, copper, platinum, nickel, niobium and other mineral resources of good prospecting targets. Study area consists of Late Proterozoic strata metamorphic- intrusive complex composition, structure and development area, folds obvious. Intrusive complex related to gold and copper- from the region in terms of mineral resources, the main objective of this mineral district is the shear-related epithermal gold and Precambrian metamorphic belt. In this paper, through the analysis and evaluation of soil geochemical characteristics of the study area for abnormal delineation proposed recommendations for the next work.Nine main elements: Au, Hg, As, Sb, Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag, Ba was analyzed. Elements of Clark concentrated area greater than 1 followed by Au, Hg, Ba, Cu, Zn, description of such elements has a tendency to secondary enrichment. Element is greater than the coefficient of variation of only 1 element Au, indicated that the soil in the study area, the uneven distribution of the elements, a large degree of dispersion, strong points of the opposite sex, have enriched the trend, mineralization is more favorable geochemical conditions.In this paper, the gradual culling, EDA(box plot) and the following three methods of 85% cumulative frequency method to determine the value of the background of the study area and abnormal lower limit through normal testing, combined with the actual characteristics of the data, and ultimately determine the elements background values and abnormal lower limit.In this paper, correlation analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis, performed the statistical analysis of soil geochemical elements, determine their symbiotic combination of elements. Correlation analysis is, when Euclidean distance coefficient at 15, 9 elements clearly divided into three groups, one group is As, Sb, Pb, Cu, Zn, Hg, Ag; Au and Ba are a separate group the results of factor analysis into(1)Hg-Ag-Cu-Zn-Ba(2)As-Sb(3)Pb(4)Au 4 factors identified prospecting elements into(1)Hg-Ag-Cu-Zn-Ba(2)As-Sb-Pb-AuDraw a single-element anomaly map of the various elements and combinations of elements anomaly map, combination of elements anomaly map Hg-Ag-Cu-Zn mainly in the northern and central study area, are looking favorable hydrothermal copper deposit target; As central-Sb-Pb-Au element combination anomalies mainly distributed in the study area, is looking for a favorable target gold deposits.By analyzing the regional metallogenic geological conditions and elements integrated anomalies, the delineation of the five comprehensive exception and comprehensive analysis of each abnormal characteristics. Finally, delineation of four prospecting prediction area.
