As the deepening of the geological prospecting,surface ore deposits are mostly found out.Meanwhile,ore prospecting becomes more and more difficult.Long-term practice shows that the geochemical prospecting as an effective method has become a major means of prospecting for minerals which are concealed and difficult to be identified.This study area is located in the Sanjiang metallogenic belt of the Changning Menglian Pb,Zn,and Ag of geochemical survey polymetallic metallogenic belt in Mengtong area.On this basis,combined with regional metallogenic background,the target areas for prospecting were screened,finding out the favorable area for mineralization and provide the direction for the follow-up prospecting work.Earlier time,people did some 1:50000 stream sediment survey work in Mengtong areas.Through comparing and summarizing,predecessors select suitable geochemical anomaly extraction methods,using grid method to obtain discrete data to process stream sediment measurement,getting good interpolation.Previously,this region has been verified and obtained,gaining unified conclusions and understanding of geochemical background.Based on previous studies,the characteristics of this study through the frequency distribution histogram,obtaining 21 basic elements with a single peak,and then,using the elimination iterative method to determine the anomaly.According to the geological metallogenic background and landscape background of the study area,three geological districts are divided,so,the unilateral threshold is not enough to represent the whole study area.Therefore,the anomaly thresholds in different subsegment are recalculated systematically.Besides,by using analysis rules of elements association,through three methods,correlation analysis,factor analysis,and R clustering,we verified five elements symbiotic combination.At last,software DGsinfo is used to color and dispose the elements area with the biggest anomalous area,delineating multi element composite anomaly area.Late,based on 1:10000 soil profile measurement in the seven delineated abnormal areas,according to acreage and distribution of anomaly area,we arrange the suitable location of soil samples and X fluorescence field analysis samples,in order to verify the seven anomaly area.Also,two main prospecting target areas are divided.
