Land Resources is the most valuable asset in our country, how to rationally and effectively develop and protect our land resources is an important issue for the government. Land Change Detection is a technology that provides a basis for the government to analysis the utilization of land resources and propose a reasonable solution for the current land use. For now, Land Change Detection is the core areas of global change research and focus direction. In the past ten years, with the rapid development of a large number of population increase and economic situation Yuanping City land use change dramatically. Remote sensing technology for land use change monitoring and analysis tools are an important area of land use change.This passage's object of study is in Yuanping, which monitored the land-use change of the study region with the remote sensing images of 27 th August, 2006 and 28 th June, 2013, after the preferred remote sensing image analysis of each band by using ENVI 4.8 and ARCGIS Desktop 9.3, First, Using ENVI4.8 preprocessing module: radiation image correction? geometric correction and fusion band was obtained in true color images, and secondly, using ENVI the Export ROIs to n-D Visualizer tool to optimize the sample selection, then, using ENVI classification module minimum distance method for classifying get image classification map, and then through the KAPPA coefficient and the overall classification accuracy of classification diagrams and other indicators to evaluate the accuracy, and finally through ArcGIS classification process of "misclassification, missing divide " phenomenon correct, to get the final classification results in Fig. Obtained by different periods with higher precision classification maps of land use spatial and temporal variation in the study area were analyzed, land use status information automatic classification of remote sensing image recognition and extraction, analysis of land use temporal and spatial variation, which not only providedthe basis for general planning and rational utilization of the land resource in the future,but also the land area for formulating the region planning.The two remote sensing images were used in treating about image clipping and image enhancement in order to get the remote sensing images of the highest visual interpretation.The land use of Yuanping city was studied, which the city's most important land use types are cultivated land, construction land,forest land,waters and unused land of five kinds.The types of land use changed significantly in yuanping in seven years.The construction land were increasing year by year, but the cultivated land, waters and unused land were a decreasing trend.
