Serpentine micro channel was widely used in biological, chemical equipment, aerospace and other fields due to its unique advantages of long distance transport in a limited area.In recent years, domestic and foreign experts and scholars have paid more and more attention to the study of fluid flow and flow characteristics in serpentine micro channel with curve part.As one of the most based researches in gas-liquid two-phase flow, flow regime which includes gas-liquid distribution and interface can bring certain influence on application of micro channel. The study on the interfacial distribution and flow pattern transition of gas-liquid phase is one of the basic research contents. The study of fluid flow characteristics in micro channel is to provide a theoretical basis for process intensification. Therefore,it is important to study fluid flow in serpentine micro channel which has certain academic significance and application value.A numerical analysis of gas-liquid two-phase flow characteristics and flow pattern in serpentine micro channel was investigated using CLSVOF multiphase model. The influence of fluid surface tension, liquid viscosity, and channel cross section shape and wall contact angle on flow regime transition line was analyzed. The effects of wall wettability and wall roughness on flow characteristics were discussed. The influences of curvature on gas liquid phase distribution and mass transfer characteristics in curved channel were studied. The effects of Y type angle on bubble length, pressure drop and flow resistance of slug flow were discussed. The results of this paper shows that surface tension,Y type and contact angle have a certain influence on transition line, while the change of viscosity has little effect. When the number of hydrophobic surface is different,gas-liquid two-phase flow patterns are different under the same condition, and the smaller the gas flow rate, the greater the difference.Bubble and liquid slug length increases and decreases with the increase of gas flow rate, respectively.Curved channel can enhance mass transfer coefficient steadily with the increase of gas velocity and curvature.
