According to the distribution characteristics of ore bearing target layer in the study area combined with regional geological background, geological conditions and physical parameters, to determine the sedimentary metamorphic type in this area for the iron ore geophysical characteristics of high magnetic, low resistance, high precision magnetic and audio magnetotelluric sounding method combined geophysical measurement method.Mining iron ore type of metamorphic sedimentary type, ore formation is the Archean Xiaotazigou formation of the Jianping group. The group is a set of metamorphic strata. The structure is mainly composed of fold and fault structure. The performance of the main fold for the Archean Jianping group formed the North East to southwest section Kalaqin - Ying Zi Wang synclinorium.Magnetic exploration is a geophysical method, which is based on the observation and analysis of the magnetic anomalies caused by the magnetic difference between rocks and ores. In the study area by using the high precision magnetic surface scan, identify the characteristics of magnetic field distribution in the area, the delineation of magnetic anomalies, and the pole, continuation of data processing, the distribution range of the magnetic body and inferred depth and spatial parameters, under the guidance of the work arrangement.Electrical prospecting is based on the difference of electrical properties between rock and ore,to find out the underground geological structure or mineral distribution. In the key part of the high magnetic anomaly, the audio magnetotelluric sounding profile is used to find out the fine electromagnetic structure of the anomalous body in the deep, especially to understand the deep underground occurrence of the magnetic anomaly.Geophysical method combined with magnetic exploration and prospecting phase, combining with the geological conditions and characteristics of the known ore body, increase the abnormal interpretation of constraints, find out magnetic anomaly sources, and deep in the form, occurrence,size, depth and other information. There is a good agreement between the results of electromagnetic sounding and the high precision magnetic scanning surface and the known geological phenomena on the ground.In the search for magnetite and polymetallic ore, the combination of geophysical methods have played a complementary role. The validity and rationality of the comprehensive geophysical prospecting method are confirmed through the verification of the borehole, which can be used for reference in other similar areas.
