In the rapid development of information technology today,data acquisition and storage technology innovation continuously,the problem of sharing management of massive spatial data acquisition becomes more and more important,the sharing of spatial information has become an important trend and trend of GIS development,however,as an important part of spatial information sharing,the research of map symbol sharing is relatively slow.Mainly because the symbols of each GIS platform on the same geographical elements of the definition are not identical,because the symbol definition standard is difficult to unity,so that the same map symbol of the grammatical structure and semantic description of the form of the existence of meta-description and format inconsistencies,due to the above factors,Symbolic sharing of map symbols is difficult to break through the constraints of the GIS system platform,making the map symbols in the design of the production,there have been a lot of repetitive work,but also led to the platform on the geographical elements of the accurate expression of information has been greatly affected.restricting the research process of geographic information sharing,therefore,it is very important to study the map symbol sharing technology.In order to solve the above problems,after summarizing and analyzing the existing standards and the premise of symbol sharing technology,this paper proposes a scheme of sharing technology,the technical method is based on the definition of universal symbol model,,using unified symbol coding rules,establish a common symbol library.In the GIS platform to develop their own under the conditions of the symbol control,to achieve its symbol library and common symbol library symbol sharing,and through the network or stand-alone environment to read a common symbol library symbols,and finally the map symbol of the shared expression.In order to realize this technical method,this paper mainly studies the following aspects:(1)This paper analyzes the traditional common standard of map symbols,explores the existing technical methods of symbolic sharing and the problems and their advantages and disadvantages in symbolic sharing,and puts forward the theory of new symbolic sharing basis.(2)The basic symbols of the map symbols are described,and the basic symbolic variables which influence the representation of the map symbols are described,and the brief description is given.At the same time,the drawing method and characteristics of the general map symbol model are analyzed and analyzed the relevant variables of model construction.(3)The SLD symbol encoding rules are introduced,the structure of SLD symbol document is analyzed,and the SLD symbol definition model is established.according to this construction of the corresponding point,line,surface symbol definition model.(4)The design of the common symbol library and the regular symbol library is carried out.In general the symbol library design,analyzes the principle characteristics of symbol library design should follow the symbol sharing,and based on the definition of map symbol model,the map symbols are defined from both semantic description and grammatical structure,and ultimately determine the structure of the general symbol library;In the design of the rule symbol library,it is necessary to define the format and symbol parameters of the basic classification symbol symbols to establish the relevant rules for calling the general map symbol library.(5)According to the design of the map symbol library,the use of related components,the GIS experiment system is established by B / S schema Web service,and the feasibility of the symbol sharing method proposed in this paper is verified by experiments.This paper presents a method of map symbol sharing,combined with experimental verification,which shows that the rule matching method based on common symbol library can realize the shared expression of symbol library between different platforms,unify the relevant standard of symbol coding standard,improves the accuracy of the representation of geographic information on the map and the consistency of the map symbols.A new technical method is proposed to realize the synchronous sharing of geographic data and symbol data,and the research process of geographic information sharing is promoted.
