Hyperspectral remote sensing,which originated in the early 1980 s,is one of the major technological breakthroughs in the field of earth observation,the emergence of this technology has made new directions for remote sensing technology.At present,the hyperspectral remote sensing has been widely used in environmental monitoring,atmospheric research,vegetation investigation,precision agriculture,geological mapping,marine remote sensing,military target detection and other fields,especially in the field of geological mapping has obtained a good effect.Hyperspectral remote sensing has greatly enhanced earth observation and feature recognition ability,and improved the quantitative level of remote sensing technology.Hyperspectral remote sensing measures a meticulous spectral features,and is accurate in describing material,but the large amount of image data and strong information correlation between bands,which is one of problems that need to be solved in the application of hyperspectral technology.The study is based on two areas,one is Beishan region in Xinjiang,and the other is Pulang porphyry copper deposit in Yunnan.Based on the analysis of the regional geological background of Beishan area and Pulang porphyry copper deposit,lithology classification of Beishan area in Xinjiang were carried out by Hy Map hyperspectral data.The alteration information of Pulang porphyry copper deposit is extracted by Hyperion hyperspectral data,and the information of silicified alteration information is extracted by ASTER multispectral data.Using HyMap data in the process of lithology classification of Beishan area,SAM,SID and BE 3 kinds of hyperspectral classification are selected to be used for spectral matching,the research identify 13 kinds of lithology,through the study of accuracy analysis of the above 3 kinds of classification methods,it is found that SAM is the optimal method for lithology classification.The comprehensive utilization of Hy Map images and hyperspectral lithology classification results for lithologic-structural interpretation,can fast and accurately determine geological boundaries and lithologic mapping.The study of alteration information extraction for Pulang porphyry copper deposit by using Hyperion and ASTER data.Alteration belt is divided by the results of alteration information extraction,and alteration belt divided into sericite-quartz belt,argillization belt,argillization belt.In the process of silicified alteration information extraction,the results are corrected by inversion of Si O2 content,can accurate extract the silicified alteration information.Alteration information extraction results are consistent with Pulang porphyry copper deposit alteration zone distribution,and can provide support for hyperspectral remote sensing ore prospecting to a certain extent.
