Chinese spallation neutron source?CSNS?is a large-scale scientific facility under construction which can carry out multi-disciplinary research,and it is the first spallation neutron source in China,ranked fourth in the world after the completion.It produces large scattering neutrons by high-energy proton beam bombarding the heavy metal target.White Neutron Source?WNS?is constructed by back-streaming neutrons from the proton beam line,which has the the advantages of continuous spectrum and short pulse.It is mainly used for the measurement of nuclear data.At present,the existing neutron source in China can not meet the needs of nuclear data measurement,and CSNS provides the conditions and opportunities for the construction of WNS.High performance WNS and spectrometer system are the guarantee of nuclear data measurement.In the construction of WNS terminal,seven sets of spectrometer systems are planned for two experimental stations,which are used for neutron capture cross section,full cross section and fission cross section measurements.Each set of detection system includes a kind of detector and the readout electronic system.Among them,the design of readout electronics is a very important part of spectrometer system.The first batch of physics experiments will be carried out in September 2017.The partial spectrometer system will be put into use.The C6D6 spectrometer readout electronics system is one of them.To ensure the smooth progress of the first batch physics experiments of WNS,a scheme of generalized readout electronics is proposed in the paper,and on this basis,the readout system of C6D6 spectrometer is constructed.C6D6 spectrometer is used to measure the neturon capture cross section in the low energy area,especially the resonant region.C6D6 spectrometer measurement neutron capture cross section is combined with the method of neutron flight time and full energy detection technology to achieve.The spectrometer consists of four C6D6 liquid scintillation detectors array?developed by the China Atomic Energy Research Institute?and readout electronics system.The construction of the readout electronics system is the main work of this paper.In this paper,I firstly study the working principle of C6D6 detector and the physics mechanism of the measurement neturon capture cross section,and investigate the readout method of measuring the captured cross section of the international similar detector system.Sceondly,I analyze the current status of readout electronics system in foreign countries.Combining with the actual demand of CSNS-WNS,in this paper the architecture of the common electronic system is proposed to adapt to the signal readout of many spectrometers.The generalized signal conditioning module is designed.The low noise adaptation problem of the front end signal and the back-end common platform is solved.Finally,the readout electronics system of C6D6 spectrometer is constructed,and The test of the electronic system and the join test with detectors are carried out.The test results show that the readout electronics system of C6D6 spectrometer in this paper can meet the requirement of signal readout of WNS spectrometers.
