Satellite laser ranging system, which referred to as SLR is a technique and method for measuring the distance between the tracking station and the satellite. With the development of the satellite laser ranging technology, the high precision laser ranging data is an important technical means for national economic construction and national defense construction. However, our country has not yet established a shared database of SLR data and related products. Our own made products can't meet the needs of related applications and scientific research, so we can only rely on the data and products provided by the international laser ranging services organization (ILRS). This not only seriously restricts the use of SLR data and the development of science and technology in our country, but also brings a huge security risk in the core areas of national security. This paper studies the satellite laser ranging data service system. The main results are as follows:(1)The SLR observation data and geodetic datum catalogue and file naming rules are confirmed. The SLR observed data are storage by satellite. Under each satellite, data are classified by the date. The historical data are stored on a monthly basis and latest data are stored by days. Monthly observed data file are stored by the satellite name, year,month and extension, day observed data file stored by the satellite name,year, day of year composition and extension. Geodetic datum products are stored according to the type of product. Each type of product is deposited on a yearly basis. The name of the product documentation includes the release of the product, the cut-off time of the observation arc and the type of the product.(2) The contents and methods of SLR observation data and geodetic datum are designed. Spatial database based on GeoDatabase, relational database based on MySQL and metadatabase based on XML are designed and integrated. Different sources of SLR data are uploaded to the database through a unified interface. Users have calculating task submit by setting calculation parameters and model and the system provides services to through automatic timing calculation and real-time calculation.(3) The B/S and C/S structure of the geodetic datum product calculation service are provided. Many types of servers are connected through VPN or LAN to realize the interconnection and mutual trust among the servers. The monitoring system is set up between servers,which realized the communication between the user and the calculation server.(4) The satellite laser ranging data service system based on B/S structure and C/S structure is developed. By establishing the database stored procedure and a variety of languages, using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Ajax and other technologies, the satellite laser ranging data service prototype system is realized. The system is ready to deploy to the Chinese Academy of Surveying and mapping.
