Evaluation On Development Potential Of Yesanpo National Geopark Of Hebei Province

The Chinese geopark construction started in 2000,the governments and departments at different levels have actively devoted into the geopark application,which have benefited to the local economy,but some problems existed at the same time,especially in subsequent geopark construction.Based on the geoheritage resources and related other resources,the evaluation on development potential in a geopark will make a scientific evaluation for the geopark development potential by reasonable methods,which could provides the scientific suggestions for the geopark planning and further sustainable development.The paper,taking Bailixia,Longmentianguan and Yugudong Scenic Areas of Yesanpo National Geopark as the research objective,and based on conclusion of the previous research about evaluation system and methods and resources characteristicsin the geopark,selects 21 indexes in resources value,development conditions and benefits to form the evaluation system.Then,based on the AHP and fuzzy evaluation methods,this paper sets up the evaluation model on development potential of Yesanpo National Geopark,and the AHP is used to ascertain the weight of evaluation factors and the multi-grade fuzzy evaluation method is used to comprehensively.assess the further development.The results show the resources value and development benefits in Bailixia Scenic Area is excellent,but poor in development conditions;and the resources value and development conditions in Longmentianguan Scenic Area are far lower than its development benefit;while the development benefit is the best in Yugudong Scenic Area,but poor in the resources value and development conditions.The results show the resources value is best in Bailixia Scenic Area,followed by Longmentianguan Scenic Area and Yugudong Scenic Area,the development conditions are the highest is Bailixia Scenic Area,followed by Yugudong Scenic Area and Longmentianguan Scenic Area,and the development benefit is the same as the development conditions.Based on the analysis above,this paper summarizes the advantage and disadvantage of development potential in each scenic area and entire geopark,proposes some countermeasures and suggestions,which would provide some scientific evidence for further geopark development.
