With the development of the national economy,the construction of offshore projects has been increased,and at the same time,the losses caused by marine disasters are becoming more and more serious.Qiongzhou strait located between Guangdong and Hainan provinces,due to its unique geographical location,Qiongzhou Strait sufer frequent storm surge.A comprehensive study of the Qiongzhou Strait storm surge process,to explore the sea storm surge disaster occurrence regularity,is of great significance to the production of various types of activities,for this area in the future to carry out construction,sailing and defense engineering.In this paper,by means of the typhoon analysis which influenced the Qiongzhou Strait since 2000,summarizes three typical typhoon path in the region: According to the three kinds of typical paths in the region,design numerical experiments to explore the multiple track of typhoon,typhoon parameters and central pressure,maximum wind radius,moving speed of storm surge take effect on storm surge in Qiongzhou Strai.The results show that:There are three typical typhoon tracks that affect the Qiongzhou strait:In the northwest direction go through the east waters of the Qiongzhou Strait waters(Route 1),parallel or across the Qiongzhou Strait from west to east(Route 2),In the northwest direction cross the Qiongzhou Strait(Route 3).Route 2,route 3 Typhoon cause stronger surge.The southeast coastline of the Qiongzhou Strait and the northwest coastline are susceptible be influenced by route 3,while the southwest coastline and the northeast coastline are susceptible be influenced by route 2.When the Route 1 typhoon act on,the storm surge in thestrait come down slowest.The storm surge of Qiongzhou Strait extreme value increases with the increase of the radius of maximum wind speed,but the growth rate gradually decreased.The growth rate are maximum under the condition of route 1,route 2 second,route 3 minimum.The region which affected by the variation of the maximum wind speed most serious is the southwest section,under the condition of route1?route3.The region which affected by the variation of the maximum wind speed most serious is the Northwest section,under the condition of route2.The duration of the storm surge maintain high level in the Qiongzhou Strait increase with the increase of the maximum wind speed,but the growth rate gradually decreased.Along with the enlargement of the maximum wind speed radius of typhoon,the storm surge in Qiongzhou Strait reaches the extreme value in advance,the region concentrated in the southwest,northeast end exports under the condition of route1,The region concentrated in the southeast section of the coastline under the condition of route 2?route 3.The extreme value of storm surge increases with the decrease of central pressure,among the range of 940 hpa to 960 hpa,the extreme value of storm surge increase by about 15% when the central pressure decreases 10 hPa,When the moving velocity of typhoon center increases,the extreme value of storm surge decrease.With the decrease of the moving speed,the duration of the storm surge maintain high level in the Qiongzhou Strait increase,but the amplitude of the increase was not proportional to the decrease of the moving velocity.The artificial island of 200 meters offshore has a significant impact on the storm surge in Haikou Bay,which has a significant impact on the engineering facilities,while the artificial island of the offshore 1200 meter program has little effect on the storm surge in Haikou bay.Island planning should consider the influence of artificial island on the storm surge.
