Beidaihe New District is the provincial key economic region of Hebei Province.It is one of the first batch of national smart cities that have been published.It is also one of the key development targets of the Bohai Economic Rim.The regional tectonic movement is intense and the basement structure is comparatively developed.What's more,the Quaternary sedimentary type and the formation space is complicated.With the rapid economic development and urban construction and infrastructure in full swing,Beidaihe New District is in actively demand to study the characteristics of the construction site.It's the first time to make a study of the formation characteristics of regional construction site of the whole area of Beidaihe New District.The research results of this paper have important reference value for the future construction.It is not only of great significance to plan the new districts rationally and adjust the function layout of the new districts but also to provide geological assurance and scientific basic geological datas.In this paper,two aspects of the Beidaihe New District construction site strata were studied: First,the characteristics of the construction site stratigraphy,that is,the division of research on engineering construction closely related to the stratigraphic division.In addition,we also make an analysis on the characteristics and subgrade bearing capacity.Second,number the division of the stratigraphic and establish a database.Furthermore establishment of three-dimensional geological modeling,to achieve the visualization of the formation on the basis of the database.The target stratum studied in this paper is mainly engineering geology stratum which is closely connected with engineering construction.By combining the data of field borehole description,laboratory test data and in-situ test,and combining with the application of technical methods such as palaeontology and special sedimentary layer,the stratum has been accurately named,and the stratum has the characteristics of geotechnical engineering,The geological history and the genetic types are divided.By dividing and numbering the engineering geological strata the comprehensive histogram of the study area is established and the characteristics of the engineering geological strata are analyzed.Through the statistics,analysis and correction of the physical and mechanical indexes of each layer of rock and soil,referring to the relevant codes,the value range of the bearing capacity of shallow foundation was determined by 50 m,and the bearing capacity of 20 m in the shallow soil layer was analyzed and studied,and the suitability of the foundation was evaluated.The test data were statistically analyzed by using the software of Lizheng.The two-dimensional engineering geologic section was plotted according to the drilling layout,topography and standard histogram.On this basis,the author summarizes the information of the stratum foundation data in the depth range of the whole area.Three-dimensional geological modeling of the main area is established based on LZGeo3 D,which bring the 3D visualization of engineering geological strata.Out of the visualization,the engineering geological strata are more intuitive to reflect in the underground distribution,which provide the necessary technical support for the construction of new district planning and the local government's decision-making.
