Multi-beam sounding is a brand new technology for seafloor mapping in fast development,with advantages of coverage area larger,speed faster,measurement more accurate and efficient,record in digital,and mapping automated.It is also for offshore engineering,sea-route,harbor,anchorage ground and barriers in sailing.With the promotion and application of high-accuracy position system and motion sensor,high-performance computer,high resolution display system,digital data acquisition technology,and signal processing technology,multi-beam sounding technology witnessed breakthroughs from time to time.According to the requirement of the multi-beam sounding on display and control,a fully-functioning real-time 3-dimentional visual software was designed via multi-beam data acquisition.To meet the requirement of the multi-beam sounding on display and control,and the function requirement on internet connection,data transmission via net,the working mode,the display and storage of measured data,the essay successfully realized the functions in real-time 3-dimentional visual software via multi-beam data acquisition in Visual studio2010,the associated technology single document with multi views based on MFC multi-document application programs structure.The essay carried out researches in the composition,the theory,and the calculation of multi-beam sounding system,and related technologies involved in the software design as listed below: the development environment of Visual studio,the serial port communication for real-time data acquisition,internet access,OpenGL,database development,and the synchronization of multi-beam data.The software realized functions of real-time data storage of sonar and the auxiliary equipment,display of real-time updated system parameters and auxiliary equipment information,display of sectional depth of beams and intensity of back wave,the real-time visualization of 3-dimentional topography,and data replay.The functions of the software were tested in data acquisition and storage,display and control by connecting to related system modules.After times of tests in lakes,seas,and acquired data replays,the software was modified and improved,and the final version was satisfactory to expected functions with correct and stable real-time display and control functions.
