This dissertation discussed how to build general 3D reservoir digital models which constrained by seismic data.The modeling process of seismic constrained reservoirs and it is also analyzed the relative 3D visualization techniques.It is mainly focused on several aspects of reservoir modeling such as methods,procedures of reservoir geological features.Several key techniques including the representation and classification of reservoir volume data have been described,and the present visualization techniques how to realize the rendering of geological grid data models.The main functions and key features of the Volume Viz modules in Open Inventor for 3D spatial data modeling are introduced in detail,and the way to build 3D reservoir visualization models by further development of the VolumeViz modules are designed.Chosing Qt with Open Inventor to build the software frame of reservoir modeling constrained by seismic data.The models sections across wells are finished through source recoding of the VolumeViz modules and self defining the algorithms for well ties of reservoir models.After Open Inventor programming,a 3D scene database for reservoir models is built and practical interactive operations of the reservoir modeling system are actualized.The system analysis functions of geological models and a serial of maps such as 3D section chart,bar chart,3D sectional drawing,2D sectional drawing for the geological characteristics of sedimentary facies.According to the evaluation analysis by data of the domestic oil and gas fields,the availability and security of the reservoir modeling system are testified.The results show that the 3D reservoir modeling system constrained by present seismic data,the volume features and spatial characteristics,which are outstanding in many aspects,such as quick respons,high reliability and accuracy,easily transplantation and so on.
