Jinwozi gold deposit is located in the southeast of Hami,Xinjiang,the straight-line distance is about 230 kilometer.It is situated in north side of Malianjing synclinorium in Beishan rift on the southern edge of the collision belt between Tarim-Sino Korean plate and Kazakhstan plate.The surface and shallow god ore has already been mined in the decades,,the original mining area resources has been stretcled to the limit.So,searching deep mining,blind ore increase resource is the key factors of the sustainable production.This paper mainly through field geological survey and comprehensive analysis of data consolidation,based on the regional metallogenic geological background,ore deposit geological feature research,the metallogenic conditions and cause analysis,exploration geochemistry theory as the guidance,using regional geochemical principle and method of primary halo zoning and correlation analysis,research the anomaly distribution and correlation characteristics of ore indicator elements,elements characteristics of typical vein,primary halo morphology and zoning sequence,found the primary halo superposition model to evaluate the ore's deep resources potential.The following understanding have been obtained.1.The main ore formation of the gold deposit is the Jin Wozhi Group of the Upper Devonia,which is a slight metamorphic volcanic-sedimentary clastic rocks series.The The rocks are made up by sedimentary tuff,conglomeratic tuffite,tuffaceous conglomerate and sandston,phyllite with marls in its inside,carbonaceous slate and little thin limestone.It's obvious that the deposit is controlled by the structure of the faults.The faults are the SN-trackin tensile faults.which develop in the Jin Wozhi rocks.The quartz mines present nervarion which have the morphological characteristics that is branching,compound dilation and contraction and thinning out following the trend of the mines.2.The occurrence of gold mineral in the ore is observed crystal interface-gold,crack-gold and included-gold.The major metallogenetic matters ca me from the Jin Wozhi Group and rocks.The gold deposit's mineralization age is 100 Ma later than its granodiorite pluton emplacement time.Gold ore forming and shear zone were roughly of the same age,indicating that ore bodies were controlled by regional structure.The ore-forming fluid is mainly for the mixture of magmatic hydrothermal and atmospheric precipitation,with the average temperature of 257 ?,which indicates that deposit belongs to the low temperature metal ogenic.3.The distribution of the ind icator element shows the Au and Ag content gradual increases from granodiorite to weak alteration rock to strong alteration rock,and get to the point in the quartz mines.The concentration of C u,Pb,Zn in mineralized zone is not obvious.The primary halo s of Au,Ag,As(W)present well in quartz mines.which sectin present intacted.The primary halos of quartz vein all belongs to the ore body's.4.The axial zoning sequence of primary halo for OV-3 ore vein is Au-Ag-As-(Sb.Mo)-Hg-Bi-Zn-Pb-W;the axial zoning sequence of primary halo for OV-4 ore vein is Au-Pb-Bi-Ag-Cu-Mo-Zn-W-As.The axial zoning sequence of primary halos present classic metallogenic and ore-forming fluid multiperiodic superimposed halo characteristic,the axial zoning values of two primary halo don't present monotonically reduced linear pattern at primary halo section,however,which present polyline pattern.5.Deep prospecting forecast suggest that,OV-3 ore-vein reflects none of deep metallogenic forecast at 1510 m level lower;OV-4 ore-vein presents certain extending potential at 1550 m level lower,and can use engineering measures to verification.
