The Research And Development Of Five-axis Jewellery's Flower Cutting Machine

In consideration of the domestic labor environment, policy transformation andenterprise's pressure of competition, there demands an urgent need for automatedproduction equipment to replace artificial jewelry processing. This paper hasdesigned a horizontal double spindle structure flower machine, which can make twotools work simultaneous, the new machine has improved the productivity.Calculation of selection of main components and life analysis has been done toensure the machine's reliability.Use ANSYS finite element analysis module to do structural static and dynamicanalysis for the whole machine, determine the modal of the machine when the tool isat different places, determine the rotational speed of the spindle to avoid resonance,consider only gravity in this case, the tool's static deformation in each direction ofthe flower machine in different feeding positions changes very small, which hasverified the accuracy of the structural model has meet the design requirements.Complete the parametric equations' derivation of space curve in the surface ofellipsoid, sphere, and cylinder, and complete the curve offset and rotationalgorithm's derivation, finally use MATLAB GUI module to write the tool pathgeneration software, use S-shaped motion curve to interpolate the space curve torealize the tool's acceleration and deceleration planning and the extraction oftrajectory points.Finally the flower machine's kinematics model has been solved, analysis themethod for solving nonlinear error of flower machine, study in post-processingand pre-processing methods in error compensation, and has designed the algorithmof pre-processing.
