Color is the most active factor in the system of the brand visual design. The color, as a silent language, not only affects people’s recognition of the things, but also conveys certain emotion and culture. However, with the impact of new media technology and information diversity in recent years, homogenization phenomenon in the branded products is disturbing the people’s loyalty to some special brand and many thriving brands are being in jeopardy. Considering the importance and the particularity of color in brand visual identification system, the way of enhancing a brand’s personality charm and a unique culture through color design becomes a commonly strategies used for designers, enterprises, marketers and operators.Children’s toys, as special products, are closely linked with the children’s lives. And with the transition of the modern family structure, consumption concept and education idea, its status and role is becoming more and more valued. Meanwhile, some education experts and psychologists even believe that toy play an important role in shaping children’s character and emotion and this effect will be shown in children’s future philosophy and values. Moreover, the current state of Chinese education insisted on education principle makes some parents, especially the presents with higher education, very careful when choosing toys for their children. So it presents a new set of challenges for the brand toys design. So far, the area lacks specialized study, or even very few. The result of current research is not systematic or deep enough. This paper bases on children’s particularity of the color in children’s toys and the importance of color on children’s growth and development, then elaborates principles and implementation of the color design in children’s brand toy. Besides that, it gives out a case to summarize a lot of common methods in color design in children’s brand toy. Finally, the paper comes up with some rethinking which aims at any problems regarding the color design of the brand toys for children and make a list of practical design. Although this topic research is built around the color design of the brand toys, its essence is to serve for producing the higher-quality goods with humanized design.
