The reverse gap error of the ball screw is a kind of NC lathe system error, it directly affects the size of the positioning precision of the machine tool. In the teaching of mechanic school and small-sized enterprise because of the low accuracy of machine tools, the reverse gap of ball screw can cause the shape and position error of the parts after machining. At this point, the necessary detection and elimination of the reverse gap is important for improving the Machining accuracy of parts. This in-depth analysis of the causes of its, and taking the economical numerical control lathe machining shaft kind of parts as an example, by using micrometer detection and adjustment of backlash, with NC programming method to eliminate backlash, using laser interferometry instrument detection and adjustment of backlash, of several kinds of detection and adjustment method were comparison, proposed in technology and machine tool limited conditions of eliminating backlash error differentiation options.Research shows that, the backlash error compensation is an important way to control the machining accuracy of CNC machine tools, especially economic numerical control machine tool processing. In the processing of a closed curve, the error compensation technology can be reduced by 75% to 90% of the machining error. Domestic CNC lathe, economic machine tool accounted for a large proportion.Through the research on the compensation method of reverse clearance system, can play a role in the domestic numerical control equipment manufacturing industry, to improve the service life of domestic CNC machine tools, to ensure consistency of product precision. It provides references for the application and promotion of CNC lathe in schools, small and medium factories.
