In modern CNC machining process, the process parameters which are closely related to the quality and efficiency often are set up before processing start, while in the machining process, the impacts which are caused by the machine vibration, tool and the workpiece abrasion can not be corrected, which impede the processing efficiency and quality of product. The project: CNC machining process adaptive control technology do research on self adaptive technology, by real-time monitoring spindle current, optimize the technological parameter of machining process, can get more significant improvement both for machining quality and machining efficiency and effectively protect the tool and the workpiece. The main contents are as follows:First, analysis the factors of main process parameters which affects the process of cutting and factors which influence the spindle power, established the control target of adaptive control module, analysis curve cutting power which combined with the external characteristics of the spindle motor characteristic curve, established a linear model of spindle current and feed rate, and achieve the function of monitoring spindle current and optimizing the feed rate in real time.Secondly, it elaborate integrated development which based on self-adaptive control. Based on the model of adaptive control spindle current and feed rate to make the adaptive control module PLC development, detailed design the signal control sub-module and the development process of PLC to achieve the integrated development of the spindle current and feed rate adaptive control module in Huazhong CNC system.Finally, by using the modules in XHK715 and aero-engine for data acquisition and analysis and display and validated the model performance, the final results showed that the model can adapt the feed rate usefully based on the spindle current during machining process, and achieve the expected results.
