With the increasing outbreaks of poultry and domestic animal diseases in China more recently, for instance, BSE(bovine spongiform encephalopathy), avian influenza, and FMD(foot-and-mouth disease),the meat quality and safety is becoming a national issue, and the customer benefit has been encroached.Now there are complete meat safety and quality legislations in developed countries on meat traceability.The meat traceability of livestock products may become a new trade barrier that impact on the competitiveness of present products in the international market. Thus, it is rather necessary to set up a complete meat traceable system, include processing, transportation, storage and retailing. To fulfill the traceability of meat products through the whole food supply chain is essential for enhancing customer trusts,and increasing the whole yield and competitiveness in meat industry. It is especially meaningful on the economic and social level to break through the trade barrier in the international meat market.“Palmer Gelang” Muslim food Inc. is mainly engaged in the modern poultry slaughtering, cold chain butchering, cold chain logistics and brand chain market integration business. By labeling “Itasystem” on each product and managing the enterprise brand and bar code, it can form reliable traceability. Therefore,the protection for producers and customers can be maximized. This study is based on a sample of “Palmer Gelang” Muslim food Inc., it explained the traceable system of its Muslim chicken products, including the design idea, process and implementation of “Palmer Gelang” Muslim chicken traceable system. The main research contents are included as following:Firstly, the simple explanation of meat traceability and Io T(Internet of things) which are mentioned in developing the meat quality traceable system, and the analysis of Io T and two dimension code technic in the application of traceable system, spatial information technology and Web GIS technology.Secondly, this study comparably analyzed the application situation in China and abroad. A survey was then conducted related to the Xinjiang chicken farm, the manufacturer, the food safety monitoring department and the willingness of customers to buy these products, so that the demand of chicken product traceable system towards market operative mechanism and customers can be fully understood. It is important for primarily determining the research content of chicken product traceable system(including systematic needs, traceable process, information stream mode and whole structure) and providing a feasible plan.Thirdly, on the basis of previous study, the “Palmer Gelang” Muslim chicken traceable system was designed, five critical control points in the traceable system were determined, including farming,slaughtering, processing, cold storage and testing.Fourthly, the study developed and applied the “Palmer Gelang” Muslim chicken traceable system.Using the “Palmer Gelang” Muslim chicken product as an example, the developed traceable system was applied to the Muslim chicken products. This study emphasized on the interpretation of traceable design process and the setting of systematic functional characteristics, especially on the process of hatching,breeding, medication, live chicken purchasing, pre-slaughtering quarantine, product refrigeration, factory quarantine, product distribution and product retailing. |
