The drill utilized most frequently is the down-to-hole drill in open-pit mine, and drilling dust is the main source of dust. In order to research the dust dispersion process and obtain the best drilling dust removal scheme, with Anjialing open-pit mine as the research background, combined with field measurement and numerical simulation, based on Eulerian and DPM of gas-solid two phases flow model. Based on this, the two-stage dust removal system with"particle tracking technology" and wetting dust removal system was developed, and dust on spot measurement of dust concentration distribution before and after the dust measurement of dust concentration distribution were analyzed. The results indicate that the drilling total dust removal efficiency was up to 99% and the respirable dust removal efficiency was up to 98% after the two-stage dust removal scheme and wetting dust removal scheme was applied.
