Coal Water Slurry(CWS)gasification technology is a kind of new way of efficient utilization of coal. The CWS gasification technology is the key technology of the construction of modern coal chemical industry.Based on the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region to develop construction of Ningdong energy and chemical, Shenhua Ningxia coal industry group in Ningdong established the first project that coal is converted into methanol using coal water slurry gasification technology.The project research foundation is the coal water slurry gasification.It mainlyinvestigated the influence factors of the CWS quality, such as coal quality, grain size, additive type and water quality.Collecting the samples of washed and raw coal in ningdong four mining area is used to test the coal analysis, separatingand mix into slurry.Linxing and Meihuajingmines are poor to preparecoal water slurry, while theZaoquanand Yangchangwan coal prepare slurry with good performance. The ratio of 2:1 of washedYanchangwancoal toYuanmo coal can be used as raw material forCWS gasification.Compared particle size grading in Shenhua Ningxia methanol projectwithother manufacturers, it choosesthe grain size distribution of Ningdong coal to prepare the CWS.Particle size distribution that35-80 meshes accounted for 15?18 wt%,80?140 meshesfor 30 wt%,140-200 meshesfor 2?5 wt%, less than 200 meshesfor 50 wt%, effectively improves the concentration of coal in CWSandCWSproductliquidity.Thesampling, analysis and slurryability evalution of individual water sample are inspected to study the effect on the properties of coal water slurry. To a large extent,industrial water influences the properties of coal water slurry. By optimizing the transformation device, the torch water cutting into the waste water treatment unit can improve the performance of CWS.Exploringthe impact of various types of ningdong coal water slurry additive to coal-derived pulp matching, additive quantity is reduced from 3.5‰ to 2.8‰,which savesadditive dosage about 900 t and slurry density at least isincreased by 1%. According to the unit load of 250000 t/a methanol project, methanol output increases4167 t/aand the profit increasesabout 3.3285 million yuan.Thus,the research reduces the production costs,increases production and efficiency of methanolto the desired research purposes.
