Burn Through Point of iron ore sintering process control (BTP) is the core content of the sintering production process control, is the key link of high quality and high yield, energy saving and reducing consumption of sintering production. BTP traditional control technology has been difficult to meet the control of modern large-scale sintering equipment requirements, in order to realize the automatic control more accurate and stable, increase the output and quality of sintering production, it is necessary to research and apply more intelligent and effective BTP judgment and control method.In this paper, according to the development and application of sinter expert system for the particular 150 sinter Plant of Shougang Iron and Steel Corporation, starting from the basic principle and process flow of modern draught sintering, an intelligent control system of BTP is Built by integrated using of modern statistical analysis and modeling, traditional mechanism modeling, and intelligent control theory and method, the BTP is controlled longitudinally and laterally on the sintering machine.First of all, the article has discussed the strategy of BTP prediction basing on Burn Rising Point (BRP), expounded the bellows exhaust gas temperature measurement method of curve fitting, the fitting curve slope method to judge BRP, for the overall condition changes, making the design more reasonable discrimination of BTP. Basing on in-depth study of BTP fuzzy characteristics, the expert knowledge and experience, using the fuzzy control theory and method, BTP fuzzy control model in the sintering machine trolley longitudinal has been established, by means of intelligent adjusting speed ratio of sinter machine, the BTP is controlled lengthwise.Secondly, in-depth research about vertical rate of burning in duct width of the sintering machine has been made, and it has been put forward that the concept of burning consistency index, using the method of mechanism modeling, BPT consistency control model in duct width of the sintering machine has been created. Through automatic adjustment of the six cloth feeding valve in duct width of the sintering machine, cloth achieves uniform, and the lateral BTP tends to be the same.The intelligent control system of BTP as a part of sinter expert system which has been applied for the particular 150 sinter Plant of Shougang Iron and Steel Corporation, in this article the industrial realization and the running effect of this intelligent control system of BTP is introduced from many aspects in detail, and it is specially described about the demand for the automatic control equipment and how to settle the question in actual application.
