Mine Information System is the applications of Geographic Information System (for short GIS) in the mine, and is an important branch of GIS. As far as the entire mine, the tunnel is one of the kernel parts. The tunnel's 3D display will improve the management and efficiency in the mine, make the visualization of mining activities, and records and show the changes in mine engineering timely and accurately. Therefore, the three-dimensional tunnel modeling is significant as an important part of Digital Mine (for short DM).This paper is focus on the design and implementation of the 3D tunnel modeling based on.NET AutoCAD secondary development technology. After investigating the development trend of domestic and foreign mining software and AutoCAD secondary development technology, Firstly, this paper discusses the establishment of three-dimensional tunnel data model approach, learns the results of previous studies, summaries data sources and characteristics of the tunnel, analyses the tunnel network element and topology, the proposed method tunnel centerline of the two-dimensional discrete points based loaded to construct a three-dimensional cross-section tunnel model, and in which highlights the algorithm design in building three-dimensional models. Finally, based on the three-dimensional data model and related algorithms, using.NET and managed ObjectARX of AutoCAD secondary development, the use of obj ect-oriented programming and programming methods, the system constructs a three-dimensional model of the tunnel.The hierarchical design is adopted in this system, which is divided into three parts of the user interaction layer, business logic layer and data management layer. User interaction layer through a custom command on AutoCAD variety of related operations, achieve the drawing of the tunnel centerline and the tunnel section, rotating and stretching the section; The data management using SQL Server2005 database for the background manages the control point data, section data and tunnel data; using ADO.NET data access technology to operate the database, and complements the data reading, data writing and data query, constructing a three-dimensional tunnel by using them. Finally, the system has been validated by critical functions, the results show that the proposed tunnel three-dimensional modeling method is feasible.
