Integration of coal resources in our country and in the process of restructuring, many small mines with extensive mining will be classified into large mines, how to remining the large number of high quality coal resources possessed by small mines, is a urgent problem. Compared with the first mining, the roofs of remining working face and coals are in severe broken, and supporting the roof and old roadway is difficult, if do not take effective measures to support working face or reinforce old roadway when working face crossing old roadway with high roof falling, it will be very difficult, there is no guarantee of safety production, even can not cross.To deal with the complicated geological conditions of Maying coal mine remining area, especially with the roof breakage and many old roadways exist, taking 4101 working face as the main research object, through the situation of roof fracture broken and stress, analysis how the key structure of overlying rock influence on mine pressure.Through the simulation software FLAC3D, mine pressure appearance of working face and old roadway while the working face crossing old roadway were analyzed. Simulation results show that the coal face is more than 30 m away, the old roadway affected by mining is very small, when 10 m away, The areas affected by abutment pressure and old roadway overlapped. When working face continues to approach, pressure peak across the old roadway and the old roof fracture position is ahead of the old roadway.By complex geological and characteristics of coal mining area, the layout and the support is difficult, so corresponding measures need to be taken in the management of roof, supporting in strict according to the construction requirements in driving and mining. After taking corresponding measures, mine pressure monitoring was taken to verify implementation results, it shows that the research has the certain instruction function to the working face crossing old roadway.
