The height-regulating system is a key component of shearer, its performance directly affects working reliability and production efficiency of shearer.It takes shearer's automatic height-regulating system of a coal company as research project.The mathematical model of shearer height system is built and analysis the system performance.The result shows that fuzzy PID control system's control performance has better performance in rapidity,stability and anti-interference performance.It is a better control strategy. According to the complex conditions with a combination of iron sulfide,analysis the reliability of the key parts of automatic adjusting system.Build height adjusting system of rigid flexible coupling model and hydraulic coupling model and simulation. Through the simulation we can find the vulnerable spot,and put forward the solution. And its reliability is improved.Finally, using the Nsoft software predict the fatigue life of the key parts of automatic adjusting system of shearer. The fatigue life can satisfy the requirements of fatigue strength.This paper can provide lessons for the design and optimization of shearer automatic height-regulating system in the future,and it has certain guidance functions to engineering practice.
